• ANARC is a qualifying round to the to the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) and by its achievements in ANARC09 the BUE Finalist team got qualified to the 2010 ICPC World Finals that will be held in Harbin, China, 1st - 6th February 2010.

  • In the presence of HRH The Prince Andrew, Duke of York, who was the guest of honour, Mr. Mohamed Farid Khamis, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, welcomed the distinguished guests and parents, of statesmen and highest dignitaries in the political, economic, educational, social and media spheres from Egypt, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, who shared in the celebration of this historic event.

  • The British University in Egypt announces the launch of the inaugural Egyptian Global Entrepreneurship Report for 2008. The study, which was funded by the Industrial Modernisation Centre and undertaken in partnership with the Egyptian Junior Business Association, was part of a 43 country study that monitored the level of entrepreneurship in the country and the factors influencing its development. The research was carried out by Dr Hala Hattab of the Department of Business Administration in the Faculty of Business Administration, Economics and Political Science and led by the Dean, Professor Kirby.

Conference Participation Guidelines

The University supports the participation of its academic staff in national and international conferences.  Staff member involvement in research activities is enforced by the dissemination of research findings through international/national journal publications and conference participations.  International conferences provide a platform for peer communication and provide a potential initiator for possible research collaborations.  The conference presence and participation of the academic staff members reflect on the international presence and reputation of the British University in Egypt.  The following summarise the current guidelines for conference participation and the necessary application forms.
